My name is Ali Blair and I am a 2001 graduate of Lexington Healing Arts Academy and am licensed to practice in Kentucky.  I have enjoyed teaching anatomy, physiology, and pathology at LHAA since 2005.  I have always loved the sciences and have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia College in Columbia, SC and an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University.  Prior to attending massage school I worked in both large and small animal veterinary practices, worked for the equine blood typing lab at the University of Kentucky and did medical research in the University of Kentucky medical school’s physiology department.

In my free time I like to be out in nature hiking, camping, and whitewater kayaking.  I am a member of American Whitewater and the Bluegrass Wildwater Association, a local kayaking club that works to teach people to safely enjoy whitewater boating and to be good stewards of our waterways.  When I can’t be in the woods or on the water I enjoy live music and spending money in our fantastic local businesses.
